I just stumbled across your blog. I love your collages. They have a tangible wit about them! Where did you find the "old" images? Also, the Tharp quote you have at the top of your blog is awesome! I don't think I've ever seen it. It's perfect! I'm sure I'll visit your blog again...
Thanks for stopping by my blog, Ann. You are definitely witty! I understand wanting to get back to doing art. I'm a teacher, and during the school year I don't have much time to create. This summer, with my 40th approaching, I decided not to do anything "teaching" related...no summer school or committees that require loads of work, etc. I just want to enjoy the evolution of moving from one age bracket to the next! My son--only child--left for college last fall. Wow, that was hard! I adjusted quickly, though, and now he's home for the summer. Another kind of adjustment is taking shape, now! I'm off to Colorado tomorrow for a week with my fiance to celebrate the big 4-0. I look forward to seeing if you've gotten to create something new for yourself. Oh, and good luck on the scrapbook. I have two sitting here shouting my name, as well.
