Charmed Inchies Swap

This past April, Linda at Grace Filled Moments hosted an inchie swap. The theme was "Charmed". I was so excited when I received my charmed inches in the mail in June. They are all so lovely. THANKS to Linda for hosting the swap and for the ladies who participated THANKS to you TOO! Linda is having a new swap this month. The theme is A to Z. What fun! I have letters A, O, & T. Oh the fun to come up with some new ideas for the swap.

New 1" squares & a new ATC

Ladies in Gray - Lia at Art Junk Girl says people are always asking her why she likes to do 1" squares. I can answer that question - Because they are FUN! For me its a quick way to create something and I like the up close feel of the pictures and words. They are quick and to the point. Try a few you might like it!

Unanswered Letters - Artist Trading Cards (ATC) are also FUN! They offer a little bigger area to work with but they can be quick and easy to make too! Both the ATC and squares offer a place to use up your scraps.

The lovely lady in this ATC was sent to me by Gail at Shabby Cottage Studio. I bought one of her pieces and she was kind enough to include a few goodies to use in my art. This is the first piece I've used and I think it turned out well.

ABC 1" squares

1" ABC Squares. These were fun to make. I cut them out of various magazines. The letters X & Z were the hardest to find.

New Header

I've finally figured out how to make a header. What do you think? Are the extra letters needed? Would just one of each letter be better? I think I'll make one with just one letter on each square. Anyway squares are FUN!

My first 1" squares

I've enjoyed visiting Lia's 1" square site and decided I would try my hand at making a few and here they are. What do you think? Take a trip to Lia's two sites listed at the right and see what she has done. You'll like what you see. She is very inspiring! Thanks Lia! Ann
